Mo Sook Park is an esteemed facilitator of leadership development training, specializing in adaptive leadership and systems thinking. With a focus on integrating group dynamics and team development theory, she has made significant contributions as Adjunct Faculty at the Institute of Design (ID) since 2019. There, she designed the Adaptive Leadership course to empower designers to enhance organizational adaptability and innovation in challenging environments.

Holding a bachelor’s degree in social science from Harvard University and a master of education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, Mo brings a rich educational background to her work. Her professional journey spans over 15 years in strategy, research, operations, and program development, culminating in the founding of i-D Leadership Consulting in 2010. Based in Chicago, her consultancy leverages adaptive leadership, design thinking, and systems thinking to support clients like the Chicago Public Schools and the US Fish and Wildlife Service.

Additionally, Mo serves as a faculty member at the Center of Leadership Development in the Office of Personnel Management, where she educates senior federal executives in adaptive leadership. Mo provides leadership development experiences for doctoral candidates in her role as Adjunct Lecturer at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and an Instructor at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Her past roles include Operations Lead at Adaptable, Inc., a Boston startup focused on innovative branding platforms.

Mo is also recognized for her contributions to the academic and professional communities through speaking engagements and publications. Notable appearances include presentations at ID Design Intersections 2019, Carnegie Mellon School of Design, and Loyola University School of Social Work, where she shared insights on partnership design, community capacity building, and advanced group dynamics. Her published work, “Leading Transitions to the New Economy,” highlights essential leadership skills for contemporary challenges.
